We are grateful we were able to build our 5-star Hotel in South Tyrol on such a lovely spot. At the same time, we are aware of the responsibility this entails. Nature must be treated with care, so we attach great importance to climate protection and organic construction.
The Sustainability Label South Tyrol
In South Tyrol, there is a symbol for destinations and accommodation facilities that actively strive for a sustainable future: the Sustainability Label South Tyrol. Based on the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), it recognizes those actors in tourism who care deeply about the well-being of our unique nature and its people, who have made it their mission to preserve our traditions, and who contribute to the sustainable habitat of South Tyrol through concrete measures.

Our house was traditionally constructed using bricks. The interior fittings were done by the best carpenters in South Tyrol with fine furnishings and lovingly created details made to measure from solid wood (including old spruce, Swiss pine and old oak). The roof, floor and balconies are made from local spruce and larch wood as well as thermo pine.

Thanks to photovoltaic systems and the use of natural resources, we use green electricity and have our own independent energy supply.
Energy efficiency, for example through thermal insulation and energy-saving heating, is a top priority. The whole interior of the building is fitted with underfloor heating, the maximum flow temperature is 30 °C. Resource conservation is also important to us: The water for flushing the WC and irrigating the green areas comes from our own spring or our 20,000 l rainwater tank.
